Design and Research Institute “Sevzapmostproekt” openned its doors in 2003by the graduates and postgraduates of the St. Petersburg State Transport University. Our organization offers services in integrated design of road and bridge facilities with the implementation of our general designer.
The first projects of the firm were inspections and measurements of bridges and culverts; such projects include: Vologda Station – Bui Northern Railway Station, Vyborg Station – Kamennogorsk October Railway Station, and New Urengoy Station – Yamburg in Yamal Station- Nenets Autonomous District.
Great contribution to the establishment of the company was made by Professor S.R. Vladimirskiy, Doctor of Technical Sciences, who was involved in the development of the projects along with technical support. He personally went to the work sites in the various regions of the Russian Federation, and passed-on his unique experience. A number of our projects directly involved various industry veterans and experts. This included Professor VN Smirnov , Chairman of the Department of “Bridges” at St. Petersburg State Transport University. Such participation in our projects from industry leaders and specialists allowed our firm to quickly expand our operations, adding modern facilities and technologies that expanded our competitive advantage in the industry.
During the course of our operations, our company took part in the designs of transportation infrastructures, including: road and rail approaches to the Baltic nuclear power plant (under construction), Detours of the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant, railways Kuragino – Kyzyl, Losev – Kamenogorsk, Kotelnikovo – Crimean, Repair – Gashun, Salekhard – Nadym, auto / railway bridge over the River Ob near Salekhard, the bridges over the River Vuonnemyok in the Murmansk region, etc. Our firm also conducted research and development for maintaining the stability of bridge piers during construction in permafrost conditions and continuously monitoring the state structures.
In the period of 2005 – 2008 , our firm conducted various inspections of railways, including: Saint – Petersburg – Buslovskaya, Saint – Petersburg – Moscow, Saint – Petersburg – Sonkovo, St. Petersburg – Detskoye Selo; Chinyavoryk – Timan, Polunochnaya – Obskaya. Various government contracts involved inspection work of bridges and pipes on the roads of Rostov – on – Don, Leningrad, Orenburg, Kaliningrad, Vologda, and Novgorod Regions. In the first half of 2009, we performed survey work of the social and business center “Ohta”, later – a similar job for the Lahta Center.
In 2011, we completed contracts with Private, State, and Municipal customers. Such work included design and survey work for construction of the interchange exit to the city of Apatity Murmansk region, highway bridges with approaches across the Great Keteme River in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Kamchatka Peninsula Goltsovka , Cna in the Tambov region, transportation infrastructure in the region of Skrīveri – Krustnils Latvian railway, pedestrian bridges across the river Mzymta under the project “Mining and tourist center” of” Gazprom “in Sochi, and a road bridge over the River Ardon (Rep. North Ossetia).
The same year, a branch of the firm was opened in the city of Rostov-on-Don. We later completed an order for the Municipal Government Institution, which involved survey work on projects:
- Reconstruction of the pedestrian crossing on the Menzhinsky Street;
- Overhaul of the bridges over the River Temernik on Sheboldaeva street and Podpolnaya Lane;
- Construction of the road bridge on Sandy street over the Temernik River.
In March 2012 , our office relocated from leased space to a state of the art premises at Leninsky Prospekt. It was fully constructed and customized to our firm’s unique needs and business model.
Efforts are continuing on the documentation of working drawings of pedestrian bridges in the Olympic capital Sochi (Documentation Stage), highway overpasses in the Kirov district of the Murmansk region, railway bridges Salekhard – Nadym in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. Preparations are underway for the completion of the design documents to submit for expertise for the following projects: The technological road to the industrial site talitsky Mining and Processing Plant from Highway “Kungur-Solikamsk” in the Perm region, overhaul of the object: Torzhkovskaya Street – Black River Shore “in St. Petersburg. Other work includes conducting pre-design traffic intersections of Murino – Devyatkino in the Leningrad region, the construction projects of a road bridge in Kudrovo Village (Vsevolozhsk district of Leningrad region), railway bridges in Nizhny Novgorod (Nizhny Novgorod NPP).
Our preservation and collaboration with strong economic ties allowed our firm to not only survive in the 2008 economic crisis but actually excel. We were able to solve problems of transport accessibility in the approval by the Russian Government, “Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030″ in view of the innovation world and national experience. Such work included partnering up with the main contractors of “Lengiprotrans” Corporation, “Petersburg road” public office, “Sevzaptransproekt – St. Petersburg” LLC, “DISOTI” public office Rostov-on-Don , “Avtopromis” LLC, “Dorproektresurs” LLC, “Uralstroytehnologii” LLC, SPSU “Directorate of Transport Construction” SUE “Lengiproinzhproekt,” Highway Administration of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Private Corporation “NWPC”, Administration Kirovsk, Murmansk region, “Apatite” public office, “Rosengineering-project” LLC.
